Gray skies will increase the chance of additional accumulation.
Most cities in southwest Ohio are reporting 1 to 3 inches of snow so far Monday. The NWS received reports of 4 inches of snowfall in Phillipsburg at 10 a.m. and 3.6 inches in Vandalia at 8 a.m.
In addition to snow, today will be cold with brisk winds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts of up to 25 mph. Highs will be limited to the mid-30s with lows dipping into the low 20s.
Similar to the morning commute, slippery conditions are possible tonight as temperatures drop.
Motorists should be cautious and give themselves and other drivers additional space on the road.

It will be a few degrees warmer Tuesday but still cool with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.
While moisture will be limited, a few light showers are possible Tuesday evening, according to the NWS. Depending on the time, some areas could see snow while others see rain.
